Top female finisher at the So Others Might Eat Thanksgiving Day Trot for Hunger

The 2008 Trot for Hunger's first place female finisher crosses the line.

Race results are posted on the Washington Running Company website.

Neal Holtschulte, 27, from Rochester, NY, was the first person back to the finish line at the SOME Thanksgiving Day 5K Trot for Hunger. He finished in 15:35, just six seconds ahead of Allen Carr, 28, from Washington, DC.

In the women's race, Natalie Haws, 21, from Kaysville, UT outran the competition to finish in 18:22, 26 seconds ahead of Heather Jelen, 24, of Falls Church, VA.
