Founded in 1976 Bruce Grau & Associates, Inc., is a full service property and casualty insurance agency and broker. All employees are licensed insurance agents and includes five outside producers/account executives. Bruce Grau & Associates have generously supported the Trot for several years and provide SOME's insurance.

Silver

Andrews Federal Credit Union is a federally chartered credit union with its main office in Suitland, MD. Andrews Federal is a financial intermediary which provides products and services both military and civilian members. Andrews Federal serves the employees of SOME and also teaches financial literacy at the SOME Center for Employment Training, in addition to regularly sponsoring the Trot for Hunger.

Since its inception in 1984, Bookkeeping Express has helped thousands of small businesses throughout the United States and focuses on in-house financial reporting along with providing sound business strategy that helps drive annual revenues and profitability.

Chipotle is a new kind of restaurant that prepares gourmet burritos and tacos and barbacoa at reasonable prices. The company has also generously pledged to provide a gift certificate for a free burrito, bowl salad or tacos to each Trot for Hunger participant who raises $100 or more.

City Sports offers the latest in athletic performance apparel, shoes, and accessories. This year, City Sports is providing $25 City Sports gift certificates to the top finishers in each age group. City Sports has local locations in Chinatown, Farragut North and Bethesda.

Fitzgerald Auto Malls has been serving Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and the District for more than 40 years. Offering more than 20 brands at nine locations, Fitzgerald Auto Malls has received the National Capital Business Ethics Award in recognition of its business practices and has developed innovative recycling and energy-saving programs. Fitzgerald Auto Malls is a long-time supporter of SOME and the Trot for Hunger.

Giant Food LLC opened its first store in Washington, DC in 1936 and today serves the Baltimore/Washington area and Delaware. In 2008, Giant Food partnered with SOME and KaBOOM! to build a new playground at Zagami House. Committed to hunger relief in our community, Giant Food is joining SOME for a second year as a sponsor of the Trot for Hunger.

Hunt & Walsh, Inc. provides painting and paper hanging services in the Greater Metropolitan Area. The company recently repainted the interior of the building that houses SOME's Medical and Dental Clinics, and joins SOME as a first-time sponsor of the Trot for Hunger.

Saucony recently celebrated its 110th anniversary and has been providing high quality performance athletic footwear since 1968. Honors include numerous "Editor's Choice" awards from Runner's World magazine. Saucony is teaming up with City Sports to provide prizes to the Trot for Hunger's top finishers.

Shoppers Food & Pharmacy is a full service supermarket that serves the Washington, DC, Baltimore and Northern virginia markets. Shoppers offers a "priced-right" natural and organic selection, fresh catch seafood and Dietz & Watson premium delis, and is joining SOME as a first-time Trot for Hunger sponsor.

Uncle Skeeter's Roofs & Gutters is Maryland's premier gutter cleaning company. In addition to gutter cleaning, Uncle Skeeter's services include roofing, soffits, siding, fascia and odd jobs, and the company has been certified as a Certainteed Shingle Master. The washing machines and dryers at SOME's affordable housing programs for families and single adults are supplied by Washington Commercial Services, which joins SOME as a first-time Trot for Hunger sponsor.

Using only lean meat and grilled chicken breasts, California Tortilla also offers a variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Earlier this year, California Tortilla donated a large quantity of rice to SOME as part of its participation in the Shorty Awards campaign.

Centric Business Systems is an award-winning technology leader serving the Baltimore-Washington region. Centric offers technology products ranging from digital copiers to network printers to multifunctional devices. Centric supplies SOME's programs with office machines and joins the organization for a second consecutive year as a sponsor of the Trot for Hunger.

DrinkMore Water provides and delivers water in a variety of sizes - from 12 oz bottles to 5 gallon jugs. Their products also include single-cup coffee brewers, Green Mountain Coffee, True Lemon and more. DrinkMore has generously provided water for Trot participants since the race's inception.

Honest Tea is known for its delicious, healthy, organic beverages. Headquartered in Bethesda, MD, Honest Tea crafts its products with a focus on sustainability. Honest Tea joins SOME as a first-time sponsor with a contribution of their delicious tea.

Keystone Recognition is a one-stop source for traditional and innovative promotional products. Offering T-shirts, pens, plaques and more, Keystone aims to help organizations to improve trade show traffic, thank customers and increase safety awareness. Keystone Recognition joins SOME for a second year as a Trot for Hunger sponsor.

Maryland Waterproofing is staffed by waterproofing consultants who are devoted to planning and implementing basement and foundation waterproofing, as well as structural repair. Maryland Waterproofing has provided its services at SOME's properties and joins SOME as a first-time Trot for Hunger sponsor.

For more than 50 years, New Hampshire Pharmacy & Medical Equipment has been providing and delivering medical supplies, prescriptions and equipment. In addition to providing supplies for SOME's Medical Clinic, New Hampshire Pharmacy has sponsored the Trot for Hunger for several years.

Located on 14th Street, NW in Columbia Heights, Rita's Water Ice offers its signature Italian Ice, as well as ice cream, gelati, custard and other frozen treats. Rita's Water Ice of Park Triangle joins SOME as a first-time Trot for Hunger sponsor with a contribution of gift certificates to participants who reach the $100 fundraising level.

Saval Foodservice is a progressive, independent, full-line food service distributor that serves the region from Philadelphia, PA to Richmond, VA. A source of leading brands, Saval focuses on the commercial restaurant segment and also provides food and supplies that are used in the SOME Dining Room. Saval joins SOME for a second year as a Trot for Hunger sponsor.

Tribles, Inc. offers quality replacement parts for appliances at 15 area locations. Founded in 1936, Tribles is still growing today. SOME is pleased to welcome Tribles as a Bronze sponsor.

Since its creation in 1981, Triple 'S' Services, Inc. has evolved to become an Integrated Pest Management company that serves clients in health care, food service and commercial industry. An environmentally conscious company, Triple 'S' focuses on both chemical and non-chemical strategies. Triples 'S' joins SOME as a first time sponsor of the Trot for Hunger.

Ziggy's Food Distributors provides wholesale meats, produce, dairy and non-perishable products to restaurants and commercial establishments in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. A supporter of the Trot for Hunger for the past three years, Ziggy's also provides food and supplies that are used by Provide-A-Meal groups in the SOME Dining Room.

Gifts & In-kind

Brooks specializes in creating men's and women's footwear and apparel biomechanically engineered to provide the utmost support and comfort to runners. This year, the top male and female finisher will each receive a gift certificate for a new pair of Brooks running shoes.

Starbucks Coffee opened its first location in Seattle in 1971 and has since expanded its offerings of coffee, confections and teas worldwide. This year, the Starbucks Coffee located at 500 New Jersey Avenue, NW, will be providing coffee and fixings for Trot for Hunger participants.

Located on Wisconsin Avenue, NW, overlooking historic Georgetown, Whole Foods offers an array of on-the-go lunches that includes fresh pizza, sandwiches and rich, decadent desserts. Whole Foods of Georgetown has sponsored the Trot for several years and has hosted food drives and 5% days to benefit SOME.
