Gifts for SOMEone Special

Home is Where the Heart Is

Your gift provides six months of affordable housing and supportive services, tutoring and recreation for a homeless family of four.

SOME's Thea Bowman House is a 10-unit apartment building and four townhouses, all of which are reserved for formerly homeless families. This program provides two years of case management and transitional housing and serves as a bridge from homelessness to self-sufficiency. Residents participate in the Family Program, an intensive program that includes life skills, counseling, and financial literacy training. The families that participate in this program are connected to SOME's other services such as our job training programs, group and individual counseling and our health services.
