Gifts for SOMEone Special

Streets to Success

SOME believes in a comprehensive approach to breaking the cycle of homelessness one life at a time. Your generous gift will allow one of our clients to move from a life of homelessness, addiction, and poor health to a life full of opportunity and potential. This gift allows our Outreach Workers to meet men and women who are homeless and eating in our Dining Room and invite them into the services we offer. When a client chooses to say YES to this opportunity, they receive counseling and a physical exam. The client may then receive three months of intensive substance abuse treatment and education. Upon completion, the client then has the opportunity to move into a transitional housing program for an additional three months of job training, relapse prevention, and counseling. While in transitional housing, the client will participate in our Addiction Continuing Care program and either secure a job or gain entrance into our Center for Employment Training. Successful clients then move into one of SOME's permanent housing facilities or into independent housing! WOW, what a difference this donation can make in restoring hope and dignity to the homeless, one person at a time!
