SOME will apply funds from the 2007 Gala toward the renovation, purchase and operational costs of existing housing programs, as well as new projects.
This summer 10 families moved into recently refurbished apartments at SOME’s Barnaby Street complex. Zagami House, which will house 12 families, will open in January and SOME recently purchased a property on Texas Avenue that will provide housing for 17 additional families.
We have also acquired a building on Good Hope Road that will provide safe, affordable housing to 45 extremely low-income seniors.
