The Thanksgiving Day Trot for Hunger could not be a success without the help of our volunteers. If you
would like to help, please email Tracy Monson at trotforhunger@some.org with
your name, email address, daytime phone number, and when you would like to help.
Race Day
Volunteers are needed to help with all aspects of the race. All volunteers
are requested to help with set-up and clean-up. Volunteers are needed from 6:00am until 10:00am or when clean-up
is complete
Volunteers will be assigned a specific duty, such as monitoring the course, directing participants from parking and metro locations, setting up and
distributing food, checking in participants who have not already picked up their race packets, and
helping with various other activities.
We are also in need of First Aid, CPR and AED certified volunteers to staff the first aid tents on race day.
Trot Street Team
Volunteers will help SOME publicize the trot by distributing posters and
brochures to various venues in the DC Metro area beginning October 27. Times and locations are flexible.
Race Packet Pick-up
Volunteers will help distribute packets for participants. Packet pick-up
will be on Wednesday, November 26 from 7 am to 4 pm at 71 O Street, NW.
