Barnaby Street

Opened in June of 2007, the Barnaby Street affordable housing program for families provides safe housing with support programs to 10 formerly homeless and very poor families.

Families renting apartments sign a lease and pay 30 percent of their gross monthly income toward rent. Case managers work with the families at Barnaby Street to promote autonomy and improve money management skills and parenting skills.

The Barnaby Street staff also includes a Child Development Specialist who is responsible for providing case management and supportive services to each school age child, guiding them to reach academic, behavioral and social goals.
