Jeremiah House
Jeremiah House provides single rooms, common social areas, and kitchens to 52 formerly homeless women and men. Like SOME's other SROs, case management services, social interaction, financial planning and referrals for additional social services are offered to the residents of Jeremiah House. Each single room is furnished with basic necessities including a dormitory sized refrigerator. Many recreational and social activities take place at Jeremiah House and the other SROs SOME has developed, which bring the residents together to enjoy the experience of belonging to a community. At Jeremiah House, residents can take part in a Valentine's Day dance, Memorial Day picnic, Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas dinner, weekly bingo, weekly coffee socials, movies in the common lounges and more.
