Welcome to the SOME Center for Employment Training! SOME CET is a well-respected non-profit whose goal is to connect employers looking for quality entry-level staff with individuals we know will be successful long-term hires for you.

We strive to provide valuable solutions for employers like you. We understand that business needs are constantly changing and having a reliable workforce is necessary to meet current demands.

• Our graduates are trained and ready to start working for you. All graduates have completed four to six months of full-time daily skills training.
• You send a message to customers, staff and other business leaders that you support your local community by hiring individuals working hard to change their lives.
• You know what to expect from our trainees even before the interview. We carefully screen, background check and drug test all of our students.
• We send you people who will succeed. Our graduates are still thriving at many area businesses after 2 or 3 years of placement.
• Our students are motivated, hard-working individuals who have proven their work ethic at CET. Trainees practice "soft skills" like customer service, teamwork, and timeliness.
• We are a self-paced program and have a constant flow of graduates that we can send to you.

The mission of SOME Center for Employment Training is to empower people to move themselves out of poverty and into living wage careers through a holistic approach that includes marketable skills training, human development, basic education and career services.
