Isaiah House offers a stabilization and support program for homeless men and women who are mentally ill. By addressing the needs of each participant, Isaiah House provides a solid foundation of mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and social development. The program strives to empower participants by providing them with a healthy self-image and improving self-confidence. This day program, which has been in operation for the past 16 years, includes social-work services, two hot meals, counseling, life-skills classes, education, arts and crafts activities, and recreation.

Recently, the participants at Isaiah House have been working with an art therapist each week culminating in a puppet show. Each participant was able to construct a happy and sad puppet, then given the opportunity to talk about their experiences before attending Isaiah House and the changes that have come with the therapy and support they now receive.
