For Employers
SOME CET is a well-respected non-profit whose goal is to connect employers looking for quality entry-level staff with individuals we know will be successful long-term hires for you. Employers can partner with CET by hiring trainees, serving on our Industrial Advisory Board, our Technical Advisory Committees, as a Corporate Mentor or volunteering as a tutor at CET.
There are several advantages to hiring graduates from the Center for Employment Training
- CET trainees receive approximately six months of intensive, hands-on
training in the specialized areas that employers demand of their entry-level
employees. These skills are evaluated by employers and taught by
industry experts. Currently, we offer training in the areas of building
maintenance and repair, front desk/customer service and medical
administration.
- CET trainees focus on human development skills that ensure that they will
remain capable and dependable employees for the
long-term. All trainees are required to clock-in and out every day, work in
teams, learn customer service fundamentals, time management skills,
accountability and conflict/problem resolution.
- Every CET trainee is pre-screened to meet your specific requirements.
CET is a drug-free environment where all trainees are screened for illegal
substances.
- CET provides trainees a life-long network of support well after they have
graduated from the program through career development planning,
mentoring, follow-up by CET support advisors and vocational specialists,
an alumni network and after-work seminars.
