SOMEfest is a special event for our neighbors experiencing homelessness to show them our appreciation and provide a new and unique twist to communicating our everyday services to the community.
It included Over 20 different food and game stations, a live DJ, and more than 25 local service providers (+16 SOME services). All were present to accommodate for the over 800+ participants this year.
The event continues to grow and become more innovative each year. This year, more games and activities were added to attract a larger audience. The marquee event was a raffle where three bikes were given away. There were many fun games like limbo and a life sized connect four game. We had one goal this SOMEfest and it was to increase awareness of all the great resources available in our community while also offering a day full of fun and entertainment for the district.
SOMEfest is a special event for our dining hall guests to show them our appreciation and provide a new and unique twist to communicating our everyday services to the community.
